About additional measures for enhancement of customs and tariff regulation of commodity import

For the purpose of further optimization of import to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of separate types of consumer goods and implementation of the conventional accrual methods of customs duties in the international practice:

1. Establish since August 1, 2011 rates of import customs duties on separate types of goods according to appendix.

2. Determine that till October 1, 2011 in case of release in free circulation of the goods placed in customs regime "temporary storage" till July 1, 2011 the rates approved by the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan of August 5, 2009 N PP-1169 "About additional measures for streamlining of foreign economic activity" are applied.

Since October 1, 2011 the rates of import customs duties approved by this resolution are applied to the specified goods issued in free circulation from the "temporary storage" mode.

3. To provide to the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan strict observance of established procedure of customs clearance of imported goods, having established efficient control of non-admission of their illegal import and the correct calculation of customs payments.

4. To the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trades of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with the interested ministries and departments of the Republic of Uzbekistan to make in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan offers on the changes and amendments in the legislation following from this resolution in a month.
