The governments of the Azerbaijan Republic, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, Turkmenistan, the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ukraine which are hereinafter referred to as "Party"

considering necessary to adhere to the general principles of recognition of qualification documents on academic degrees and comparability of the academic degrees established in their states

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties shall recognize qualification documents of the state sample on academic degrees of the State Parties of the Agreement in the territories of the states.

Recognition of one of the Parties of qualification documents on the academic degrees issued by the state certification bodies of other State Parties of the Agreement does not involve unconditional distribution on their owners of the rights established by the Parties in the territory of the states for persons having national qualification documents.

Article 2

Questions of comparability of the academic degrees established by the Parties are considered by them on the basis of bilateral agreements.

Will provide opportunity and procedure for distribution on owners of the qualification documents issued by the state certification body of one of the Parties, the rights granted to owners of the qualification documents issued by the state certification body of other Party in texts of these agreements of the Party.

Article 3

The parties shall provide each other all necessary national regulations regulating rules and procedures of registration and issue of qualification documents on academic degrees and also in necessary cases to direct each other the corresponding official explanations.
