being guided by provisions of the Agreement on cooperation in the field of education of May 15, 1992 and the Agreement on cooperation on forming of single (general) educational space of the Commonwealth of Independent States of January 17, 1997,

proceeding from tasks of development of education systems of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States,

understanding need of joint use of achievements in the field of the higher education, coordination of actions for the benefit of further development of national systems of the higher education and creation of general educational space,

for the benefit of long-term cooperation and deepening of integration processes in the field of the higher education

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the concept "branch of higher educational institution" used in the text means the structural division of higher educational institution of the state of one Party located in the territory of the state of other Party and enabling the realization of educational programs in full.

Article 2

Creation of branches of the state and non-state higher educational institutions which underwent the state accreditation (certification - for the states of the Parties which legislation does not provide carrying out accreditation), is performed based on this agreement and decisions of state bodies of management of formation of the state of founder higher education institution and state of the location of branch.

Article 3

Branches of higher educational institutions are created, will be reorganized and liquidated according to the legislation of the state of the location of branch taking into account the legislation of the state of founder higher education institution.
