About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine in connection with ratification of the Second additional protocol to the European convention on mutual aid in criminal cases
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to such legal acts of Ukraine:
1. Item 1 of the Section I actually ceased to be valid according to the Code of Ukraine of 13.04.2012 No. 4651-VI
2. Paragraph two of item 4 of article 1 of the Law of Ukraine "About ratification of the European convention on mutual aid in criminal cases, 1959, and the Additional protocol of 1978 to the Convention" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1998, No. 23, Art. 130; 2000, 1, 3) to state No. to the Art. in such edition:
"bodies to which powers according to Item 1 of article 15 of the Convention are assigned are the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (on cases at stage of court investigation) and the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine (on cases at stage of pretrial investigation)".
II. This Law becomes effective from the day following behind day of its publication.
