About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning elimination of excessive state regulation in the field of motor transportations
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Make changes to the following legal acts of Ukraine:
1. In the Code of Ukraine about administrative offenses (The sheet of the Supreme Council of USSR, 1984, appendix to No. 51, the Art. 1122):
Article 121 to state 1) in the following edition:
"Article 121. Violation by the driver of rules of vehicle control, instructions for use seat belts, or crash helmets
Management of the driver of the vehicle having defects of system brake or steering, the traction coupling device, external light devices (in night-time) or other technical defects with which according to statutory rules operation it is forbidden, or re-equiped with violation of the corresponding rules, regulations and standards,
attracts imposing of penalty from twenty to twenty five free minima income of citizens.
Management of the driver of the vehicle used for provision of services on transportation of passengers which has the defects provided by part one of this Article or technical condition and which equipment does not meet the requirements of standards, traffic regulations and technical operation,
attracts imposing of penalty from forty to fifty free minima income of citizens.
Management of the driver of the vehicle which is subject to mandatory engineering supervision, but timely did not take place it,
attracts imposing of penalty from twenty to twenty five free minima income of citizens.
Making, repeated within year, any of the violations provided by parts one - third this Article,
attracts deprivation of the right of control of vehicles for a period of three up to six months or administrative detention for a period of five up to ten days.
Abuse of regulations of use of seat belts or crash helmets
attracts imposing of penalty from three to five free minima income of citizens.
