About amnesty in connection with the 20 anniversary of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic

Showing respect for the commonly accepted human rights and freedoms, proceeding from the principles of humanity and mercy, in connection with the 20 anniversary of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic:

Article 1.

Exempt from criminal liability and custodial sanction, and also from the punishments which are not connected with imprisonment:

1) minors;

2) women is more senior than 55 years;

3) men is more senior than 60 years;

4) the persons who are the single supporter in family, having at least two minor children or handicapped children of I and II groups or dependent on which there are disabled parents of the I group;

5) the expectant mothers, women having children aged up to one year;

6) disabled people of I and II groups;

7) persons who for the first time committed crimes of small weight and less serious crimes.

Article 2.

Exempt from criminal liability of persons for the crimes provided by parts 1 and 2 of Article 336 ("Escape from the place of detention or from custody"), Article 337 ("Evasion from serving sentence in the form of imprisonment"), Article 359 ("Unauthorized leaving of part or the duty station"), part 1 of Article 360 ("Desertion") of the Criminal code of the Kyrgyz Republic if they within three months from the date of entry into force of this Law voluntarily were to places of serving sentence, the place of detention and passing of military service.
