About support and development of small business in the State Parties of the CIS

The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

being guided by the Agreement on creation of Economic union of September 24, 1993,

recognizing importance of economic cooperation, stimulation of development of the market relations, forming and market saturations as goods and services,

realizing social and economic role of small business in decrease in social tension, creation of new workplaces, forming of market infrastructure,

understanding need of protection of social and economic interests of representatives of small business,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

As small business entities for the purpose of this agreement of the Party recognize the legal entities and physical persons which received this status according to the legislation of the state performing their registration.

Article 2

The parties, having complete independence in questions of realization of state policy in development and support of small business, perform interaction on its support and cooperate in the following directions:

assistance to establishment and development of business contacts between small business entities of the State Parties of the Commonwealth;

forming of conditions for activation of foreign economic activity of small business entities;

assistance in creation interstate and national infrastructures for support of small business;

assistance to financial and credit and investment support of small business;

assistance to development of innovative activities of small business entities;

rapprochement of the regulatory framework of the Parties regulating activities of small business;

creation compatible national and single interstate systems of information and consulting support of small business;

forming of positive public opinion about small business;

training for small business.
