The State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States on behalf of the governments which further are referred to as with the Parties

proceeding from need of protection of life and health of passengers in case of the international motor transportations,

recognizing the right of passengers to indemnification, caused to their health during international delivery by road transport,

aiming at ensuring single approaches to protection of interests of passengers or their heirs in case of accidents during international carriages with road transport,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The terms used in this agreement have the following values:

international delivery - the international motor transportation of passengers performed by buses based on the transportation agreement on the territories at least two Parties, except as specified when the point of departure and destination are in the territory of one state;

regular transportation of passengers - the international delivery which is carried out according to the approved schedule and traffic route of the bus with indication of the point of departure, destination and stopping points;

irregular transportation of passengers - international delivery in case of which conditions of its implementation are determined in each separate case by approval between the customer and carrier;

the transportation agreement - the agreement signed between carrier and the passenger about rendering transport services;

the bus - the vehicle intended for transportation of passengers and baggage, having at least 7 places for sitting apart from driver's seat;

carrier - the legal entity or physical person performing international carriages of passengers based on the license and registered as the subject of business activity by the legislation of the state of the location;

the passenger - physical person which according to the transportation agreement, concluded from his name or him, is transported by carrier;
