State members of Economic union, on the one hand, and Ukraine, with another, the hereinafter referred to as Parties,
respecting sovereignty, territorial integrity and immunity of borders of the states,
in view of the Statement of Ukraine for its intention to cooperate with Economic union as the associated member on the basis of the free standing agreement according to article 30 of the Agreement on creation of Economic union of September 24, 1993,
considering the Decision of Council of heads of states of the Commonwealth of Independent States of December 24, 1993 about temporary application of the Agreement on creation of Economic union,
understanding importance of establishment of the multilateral mutually beneficial economic relations,
understanding the aspiration of the states to provide carrying out economic reforms for the benefit of the people,
aiming to create conditions for organic entry of the economies into the world economy,
being guided by the conventional principles and rules of international law, agreed as follows:
Ukraine joins Economic union as the associated member and recognizes the purposes and the principles containing in articles 1 and 2 of the Agreement on creation of Economic union.
Regulation of the economic relations in specific fields of activity is performed by the Parties by the conclusion of free standing agreements which realize the purposes provided by Articles 2, of 3, 4 Agreements on creation of Economic union.
Ukraine incurs agreement obligations, concluded within Economic union which it joined, and in case of their signing with these or those clauses - with withdrawals which follow taking into account such clauses if they are allowed by the specific agreement.
Ukraine can delegate the representatives to all bodies of Economic union and take part in discussion of the questions relating to its activities.
