Art. I. - In the Criminal code of the Republic of Moldova No. 985-XV of April 18, 2002 (repeated publication: The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2009, No. 7274, of the Art. 195), with subsequent changes to make the following changes and additions:

1. State Article 1851 in the following edition:

"Article 1851. Copyright violation and related rights

(1) Copyright violation and the related rights if the amount of the violated rights is estimated in large sizes, made in the way:

a) reproduction of works or objects of the related rights within the business activity indirectly relating to intellectual activities in the field of copyright and the related rights, in particular in the field of literature, art and science with sales objective or offers to sale, import, export, and equally in warehousing, transportation of copies of works or soundtracks in the mentioned purposes or any other forms of use of objects of copyright or the related rights for the purpose of profit earning, without the consent of the owner;

b) delivery in hire, exchange or other form of provision in the order of the third parties gratuitously or paid, and equally in warehousing for present purposes or other use of copies of works or soundtracks in any kind or form, without control marking and in absence at the time of control of the author's agreements signed with owners;

c) sales or offers to sale, delivery in hire, import or storage of technical equipment or its parts intended for simplification of access to programs of the broadcasting organizations which are conditionally interacting through radio, cable, satellite network in the interactive mode, including via the Internet;

d) instructions on copies of works or soundtracks of false information about accessory and limits of implementation of copyright and the related rights, and also any other information able to mislead the user;

e) inappropriate application of control brands, others, than on the material carriers specified in appendices to the statement for issue of control brands on copies of the works or soundtracks used without the consent of the owner;
