About entering of amendments into the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About sustainable development of ekologo-economic system Issyk Kul

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About sustainable development of ekologo-economic system Issyk Kul (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 2004, No. 12, the Art. 530) the following amendments:

1. The paragraph one of part 2 of article 8 after words "foothill zones" to add with words ", sea-buckthorn thickets around the Lake Issyk Kul".

2. Add Article 14 with paragraphs the fifth or eighth the following content:

"-measures for prohibition of cutting down of sea-buckthorn thickets, recovery and preserving natural ecological systems in coastal zone of the Lake Issyk Kul, including imputation and obligation of the subjects who are engaged in economic activity to recover sea-buckthorn thickets in the territory of coastal zones of boarding houses and other managing objects;

- measures for non-admission of pollution and contamination of surface of glaciers, and also measures for non-admission of further decrease in their area of freezing;

- measures for strengthening of geotechnical stability of tailings dams for the purpose of ensuring safe content of radioactive and toxic burials;

- measures for prohibition of burial of the vehicles operated by Kumtor Opereyting Kompanii Ltd in the mountain territories.".

Article 2. This Law becomes effective from the date of official publication.

To the government of the Kyrgyz Republic in three-months time to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law.
