Article 1. General provisions

1. This Law determines the purposes, methods and procedure for transfer of state-owned property of the Kyrgyz Republic (further - state-owned property) in trust management, conditions of implementation of trust management of state-owned property, and also determines features of transfer to trust management and conditions of implementation of trust management concerning separate types of state-owned property.

2. Operation of this Law extends to the shares which are in state-owned property, in economic partnerships and societies.

3. Features of trust management in spheres of banking, insurance and investing activities can be established by the relevant laws.

Article 2. Purposes of trust management of state-owned property

The state-owned property is delivered in trust management for the purpose of:

- increases in revenues and (or) reducing account part of the republican budget;

- increases in efficiency of use of state-owned property and maintenance of state-owned property in proper condition;

- preserving and enhancement of state-owned property;

- cost reductions in activities for management of state-owned property;

- promotions of products on the international markets;

- implementations of new production and managerial technologies at the companies, including international standards;

- participations in creation and implementation of social projects;

- interactions with potential foreign investors, institutes of development and other financial organizations for the purpose of investment attraction, forming of the database of business projects, potential for investment;

- creations and realization of joint projects with participation of the private domestic and foreign equity;
