expressing concern of the State Parties in destiny of the military personnel of the former USSR and members of their families, and also recognizing need of acceptance of agreed measures for the solution of questions of providing them as premises,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

This agreement extends to the military personnel (except the military personnel of conscription service) passing military service in Armed Forces and other military forming of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States which were earlier in the military service in Armed Forces and other military forming of the former USSR, in the Joint Armed Forces of the Commonwealth of Independent States (further - the military personnel), and also to citizens from among the specified military personnel discharged from military service after December 31, 1991, and members of their families and who are foreign citizens in relation to the state of their stay or having the right to acquisition of nationality of the State Party in the territory of which the permanent residence is chosen.

Article 2

Military personnel and members of their families in case of transfer for further passing of military service to other state are provided with premises on regulations and according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the State Party to which they arrive.
