THE AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF LABOR PROTECTION

The State Parties of this agreement on behalf of the Governments which further are referred to as with the Parties

based on provisions of the Agreement on creation of Economic union,

noting interstate nature of problems of labor protection and importance of their decision in providing social security guarantees of life and health of workers,

aiming at development and deepening of full cooperation between the Parties and being guided by need to provide carrying out the coordinated actions in the field of labor protection on the basis of use on mutually advantageous conditions of the accumulated experience and scientific and technical potential,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties, having complete independence in questions of forming and realization of national policy in the field of labor protection:

consider expedient carrying out the coordinated labor protection policy on issues taking into account the commonly accepted international standards and rules;

recognize standards of the Occupational Safety Standards System (OSSS), single regulations and rules on labor protection as interstate according to the approved list which is reviewed as required taking into account requirements of the national legal system of the Parties and results of the joint operation directed to enhancement of SSBT;

approve approved or jointly developed regulations and requirements for labor protection to the mutually delivered machines, mechanisms, the equipment, materials, technologies, means of labor protection;

apply the approved terms and determinations in the field of labor protection;

create joint information system with databank on labor protection and will organize publications on this matter.

Article 2

The parties perform the approved activities in the field of labor protection in the following directions:

establishment of requirements of labor protection to machines, mechanisms, other products of production appointment, to new substances, materials, technologies and designed projects;
