The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as "Party"

being guided by provisions of the Agreement on creation of Economic union of September 24, 1993, Agreements on assistance in creation and development of the production, commercial, credit and financial, insurance and mixed transnational associations of April 15, 1994,

recognizing importance of consolidation and coordination of efforts for increase in overall performance of the companies of light industry,

proceeding from need of increase in competitiveness of carpets and carpet products,

attaching great value to enhancement of marketing and development of goods distribution network,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties promote creation of non-profit organization - Carpets of the CIS multinational corporation (further - Corporation) - based on the companies and the organizations of different patterns of ownership.

Article 2

Main objective of Corporation are:

development of production of carpets and carpet products;

increase in competitiveness of these products;

development of mutually advantageous bonds between suppliers of raw materials and producers of carpet products;

carrying out coordinated actions in the field of technical policy and marketing;

development of recommendations about improvement of consumer properties, technological and economic parameters of products;

preparation of information on requirements of the market;

creating favorable conditions for realization of carpets and carpet products.

Article 3

The corporation is open for joining to it of other business entities of the State Parties of this agreement according to the procedure and on the conditions provided by constituent documents of Corporation.
