The governments of the State Parties of this agreement, further - the Parties,

expressing aspiration to consolidation of the friendly international relations, development of mutually beneficial cooperation within the Commonwealth of Independent States,

considering that radiation factors became the integral component of the habitat of modern civilization,

in view of importance and special sharpness of radio environmental problems, general for the majority of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States which were injured from Chernobyl and other radiation accidents, effects of nuclear explosions, placement nuclear and accumulatings of other radioactive waste

understanding that major ecological accidents and accumulation of radioactive waste inevitably affect the big territories and their minimization is impossible without the approved close cooperation of the states,

considering that scientific support of nuclear programs in the State Parties of the Commonwealth was performed unevenly and not in all State Parties of the Commonwealth the network of training of specialists on radio ecology, radiation safety, radiobiology and interdisciplinary sciences is created,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will cooperate in the field of training of specialists on radio ecology, radiation safety, radiobiology and interdisciplinary sciences for the solution of the scientific, social and economic problems connected with radiative effects and also exchange of information and new technologies for these problems.

Article 2

The cooperation of the Parties in the field of training of specialists on radio ecology, radiation safety, radiobiology and interdisciplinary sciences will be performed taking into account the accumulated experience in the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and in other State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States based on educational institutions (centers) of these states, and also educational institutions (centers) of other Parties.
