About restriction of monopolistic activities, development and protection of the competition
The law determines the organizational and legal basis of development of the competition, measure for the prevention, restriction and suppression of monopolistic activities and unfair competition and is aimed at providing conditions for creation and effective functioning of the republican goods market.
The law acts on all territory of the Kyrgyz Republic and extends on arising on republican and the regional markets of the relation with participation of any business entities, executive bodies and officials.
The relations connected with development in the Kyrgyz Republic of the competition in the goods markets and restriction of monopolistic activities are regulated by this Law with observance of the international economic agreements and relevant acts of the international organizations which member is the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law is not applied on the relations regulated by the regulations following from the legislation 9ob inventions, trademarks, copyright unless the appropriate rights are intentionally used by their owners for the purpose of competition restriction.
For the purpose of regulation of the goods markets the Government has the right to establish withdrawals from operation of this Law only in particular cases (natural disasters, etc.). The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic informs Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic on the taken measures and specifies the reasons and terms of these withdrawals.
