in view of the urgent need of cooperation for the purpose of further development of the legislation of system of collective security on the basis of the Agreement on collective security,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties coordinate efforts in work on rapprochement of national legal systems of state members of the CSTO concerning ensuring collective security, including questions of coordination of foreign policy activities, defense, counteraction to the international terrorism and extremism, illicit trafficking in drugs and psychotropic substances, weapon, organized transnational crime, illegal migration, the prevention and mitigation of consequences of technogenic catastrophes.

Article 2

The parties interact in creation in the Secretariat of Council of MPA of the CIS of databank of national legal systems of state members of the CSTO for the questions specified in Article 1 of this agreement.

Article 3

The parties perform interaction at the expert level on preparation of the draft documents which are of mutual interest.

For this purpose the Parties encourage mutual consultation on the questions entering competence of the Secretariat of Council of MPA of the CIS and the Secretariat of the CSTO, carry out the analysis of national legal systems of state members of the CSTO at the expert level.
