The state committee on archives and clerical work of the Republic of Belarus and the Management on archives under the Government of the Republic of Armenia which are hereinafter referred to as by "Parties"

acting for the benefit of further development of scientific and cultural ties,

proceeding from mutual aspiration to full cooperation between archive organizations of both states,

considering that such cooperation will promote deepening of friendship between the people of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Armenia,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties according to this agreement and the national legal system of the states of the Parties will perform cooperation in accordance with the established procedure, paying special attention to experience exchange in the field of archive activities for the directions interesting them. For this purpose on mutual basis of the Party will exchange specialists archivists and information on the archiving problems arising at them.

Article 2

The parties will exchange the legal and other regulations regulating questions of work of archive organizations and also reference and scientific and methodical books on archiving (rules of work, scientific works, Articles, materials of scientific conferences and seminars, etc.) and publications of archive documents which are published by archive organizations of the Parties.

For implementation of arrangements of this Article each of the Parties transfers to other Party lists of the materials published and published within year.

Each of the Parties can request from other Party information interesting her, except for the materials containing the state or official secret or the data which are not subject to publication.

Article 3

The parties in the procedure established by the national legal system of the states of the Parties will perform joint publications of archive documents and to organize documentary exhibitions on the approved subject.
