The Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Kazakhstan which further are referred to as with the Parties

based on regulations of the Contract between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan on long-term economic cooperation for 1999-2008 of November 4, 1999;

attaching importance to strengthening and development of mutual business contacts between the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Kazakhstan,

agreed as follows:

ARTICLE 1

Economic cooperation of the Parties will be performed on the basis of mutual advantage and good will according to international agreements and national legal systems of their states.

ARTICLE 2

The parties consider the most important direction of joint operation discussion of questions of bilateral economic cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

ARTICLE 3

The parties on regular basis perform exchange of information on the questions entering their competence:

- economic policy;

- regional policy;

- social policy;

- industry policy;

- investment policy;

- foreign trade policy.

ARTICLE 4

The parties will hold consultations concerning condition and perspectives of the bilateral economic relations, for the purpose of development of recommendations about enhancement of conditions and forms of economic cooperation.

ARTICLE 5

The parties will render assistance to subjects of managing of the states in preparation and implementation of joint investment projects and programs, creation and functioning of finansovopromyshlenny groups, joint businesses.
