The ministry of statistics and analysis of the Republic of Belarus and National statistical service of the Republic of Armenia which are hereinafter referred to as "Party"

based on mutual interest in development of cooperation in the field of statistics and activation of interaction of statistical bodies of both states,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties will perform cooperation in the following main directions:

exchange of methodological developments on creation and functioning of systems of statistics, programs and methods of carrying out statistical observations, including population censuses, the most important selective inspections and polls of the population;

exchange of statistical information on the subjects stipulated by the Parties;

exchange of statistical editions and publications (annuals, collections, bulletins, messages and reviews about social and economic provision of the states and certain regions);

exchange of information about export and commodity import and services in four-digit codes of "The commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activity of the Commonwealth of Independent States" and comparison of data by method of mirror statistics;

the organization of collection and exchange of information about deliveries of investment and consumer goods according to the nomenclature and terms provided by the relevant Interstate agreements;

experience exchange on use of computers, local networks and program developments in the field of statistics, rendering mutual aid in creation of the automated databanks, implementations of new information technologies;

experience exchange and rendering mutual aid in implementation and enhancement of system of national accounts and other systems of accounting and statistics meeting the international standards and standards, and also exchange of information about the course of developments and accomplishment of appropriate programs and projects;
