noting importance of problems of ensuring industrial safety and need of their decision for the purpose of providing security guarantees of life and health of the workers occupied on hazardous production facilities and also protection of the population and the surrounding environment against technogenic accidents,

in view of provisions of the Convention of UNECE of 1992 "About cross-border impact of industrial accidents",

aiming at development and deepening of cooperation between the Parties and being guided by need of carrying out the coordinated actions for ensuring industrial safety on hazardous production facilities on the basis of use on mutually advantageous conditions of the accumulated experience and scientific and technical achievements,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties, having complete independence in questions of forming and realization of national policy in the field of ensuring industrial safety on hazardous production facilities, and also based on the national principles and approaches to forming of legal regulation and the state supervision in the field of ensuring industrial safety:

consider expedient carrying out coordinated policy concerning ensuring industrial safety on hazardous production facilities and forming of general approaches and the principles of legal regulation and the state supervision in the field of ensuring industrial safety,

recognize requirements of industrial safety as interstate regulations and rules according to the approved list of normative and technical documents which is reviewed as required taking into account the national legal system of the State Parties of this agreement and results of the joint operation directed to enhancement of normative regulation of industrial safety;
