aiming to develop mutual cooperation in the field of veterinary science for the purpose of protection of the territories of the states from infectious and parasitic diseases of animals, including diseases, general for animals and the person,
being guided by desire to enhance forms of veterinary control of transportation of animals and animal products,
agreed as follows:
The terms used in this agreement mean:
1. Veterinary activities - system of the governmental veterinary, veterinary and sanitary and antiepizootic activities directed to the prevention of origin, distribution and liquidation of infectious diseases of animals, prevention of noncontagious diseases of animals and their treatment, protection of people against diseases, general for the person and animals, ensuring control of production of animal products and protection of the territory of the states of Contracting Parties from drift of causative agents of infectious diseases of animals from other states.
2. Animals:
one-hoofed animals (horses, donkeys, mules, pony and others);
artiodactyl domestic and wild animals (cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, bisons and others); zoo and circus animals; domestic and wild birds (hens, turkeys, geese, ducks, guinea fowls, pheasants, partridges, quails and other birds); fur animals (rabbits, foxes, minks, polar foxes and others); exotic animals and birds;
fishes, crayfish, frogs, mollusks, turtles and other representatives of fauna; bees.
3. Animal products:
meat and meat products, milk and molokoprodukta, fish and fish products;
eggs and yaytseprodukta, beekeeping products;
sperm of producers, ova, zygotes, embryos, incubatory eggs;
skin, wool, hair, down, feather, furs, endocrine glands, internals, horns, hoofs and other raw materials.
4. Fodder:
stern of plant origin (the hay, straw, grain and other products of plant origin used in feeding of animals);
