THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CUSTOMS SERVICES OF THE STATE PARTIES OF THE CIS ON THE PROCEDURE FOR EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION IN THE FIELD OF HARDWARE OF CUSTOMS AUTHORITIES

The Customs Services of the State Parties of the CIS which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties, interested in practical implementation of the Concept of cooperation of Customs Services of the State Parties of the Commonwealth in the field of hardware approved by the decision of Council of heads of Customs Services of the State Parties of the Commonwealth No. 3/23 in Kiev on May 14, 1999 for the purpose of effective interaction in equipment of customs authorities in technical means agreed as follows:

Article 1

The terms used in this agreement have the following value:

"technical means" - means of informatization, the means of communication, technical means of customs control and special technical means;

"the purchased technical means" - serially manufactured technical means which are purchased for equipment of the Parties;

"the companies (organization) - developers" - the companies (organization) conducting research and opytnokonstruktorsky works on orders of customs authorities;

"manufacturers" - the companies of the industry manufacturing technical means by request of Customs Services of the Parties;

"companies suppliers" - the companies performing delivery of serially manufactured technical means made for equipment of the Parties.

Article 2

The parties perform exchange of information in the directions stated in the Concept of cooperation of Customs Services of gosudarstvuchastnik of the CIS in the field of hardware when carrying out the nauchnoissledovatelsky and developmental works (NDW) provided by the plan of implementation of the Concept.

This agreement does not raise the questions of exchange of information, being the state secret which is that according to the legislation of the State Parties of the CIS.

Information on technical means, developed (developed) by request of the Parties, about the purchased technical means shall contain the following data:
