The State Customs Committee of the Republic of Belarus and Public service of the income of the Republic of Latvia which are referred to as further with the Parties

being guided by regulations of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Republic of Latvia on cooperation and mutual aid in customs affairs of May 16, 1998,

recognizing need of timely exchange of information for the purpose of prevention of violations of customs legislations of the states of the Parties, and also enhancement and acceleration of customs clearance and customs control of the goods and vehicles moved through the Belarusian-Latvian frontier

agreed about the following:

Article 1

Action of this agreement extends to exchange of information about the goods and vehicles moved through the Belarusian-Latvian frontier.

Article 2

The parties through the customs authorities subordinated to them which are directly exercising control at check points through the Belarusian-Latvian frontier will organize exchange of information about the goods and vehicles which are drawn up in the customs relation by one of customs authorities of the states of the Parties and moved through belorusskolatviysky frontier, for the purpose of subsequent use of other Party by customs authorities.

Article 3

The direction of information is performed upon termination of customs clearance and customs control of the state of one Party by customs authority to customs authority of the state of other Party according to technologies of information exchange.

Article 4

Technologies of information exchange are developed by the customs authorities of the Parties exercising control at check points through the Belarusian-Latvian frontier and affirm the Parties no later than 45 days after entry into force of this agreement.
