For the purposes of these rules the following determinations are used:
The parties - the State Parties of the Agreement on cooperation on suppression of offenses in the field of intellectual property of March 6, 1998;
counterfeit goods - the goods containing intellectual property items (objects of copyright and the related rights, the trademarks, geographical instructions) created and/or moved through customs border with violation of the rights of the owner provided by the national legal system;
the owner - physical (legal) person or the state which rights to intellectual property items are protected according to the national legal system of the Parties;
release suspension - prolongation of decision making term by customs authorities about release of the goods moved through customs borders of the Parties concerning which it is supposed that they are counterfeit;
