About modification of the Procedure for appointment and payment of grants
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:
Bring in the Procedure for appointment and payment of grants approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of July 12, 2004 No. 882 "Questions of scholarship providing" (The Official Bulletin of Ukraine, 2004, No. 28, Art. 1871; 2006, No. 7, Art. 363; 2008, No. 21, the Art. 588), changes which are applied.

1. In paragraph one of Item 10 of the word of "the academic grant" shall be replaced with words "the academic and social grant".
2. State Item 12-1 in such edition:
"12-1. To pupils, students and cadets from among the orphan children and children deprived of parent care and also to pupils, students and cadets who during study aged from 18 up to 23 years were left without parents the social grant in the amount of which is established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is appointed.
In case when progress of persons specified in paragraph one of this Item makes by results of semestrial control of 10-12 points in each subject or the GPA of progress equals to five (respectively in case of twelve - and five-point scale of estimation), the size of the social grant appointed according to paragraph one of this Item increases on:
40 hryvnias - for pupils;
50 hryvnias - for students of the higher educational institutions I-II of level of accreditation who study on educational qualification level of the junior specialist or bachelor;
60 hryvnias - for students of the higher educational institutions III-IV of level of accreditation who train on educational qualification level of the bachelor, specialist or master.
