The instruction about procedure for write-off of minerals from accounting of mining companies and the state balance

1. General provisions

1.1. This Instruction is constituted according to requirements of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "About subsoil and subsurface use" (Articles 47, 49, 51, 55, 58, 63).

1.2. The instruction establishes single procedure for write-off of inventories of minerals from accounting of the companies and is obligatory for all subsoil users irrespective of the patterns of ownership performing designing, construction, reconstruction, operation, preservation and liquidation of the companies for mining (further hereinafter are referred to as as mining companies) in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

1.3. Inventories as approved by the State Commission on Mineral Reserves (GKZ) or the territorial commissions (TKZ), and quickly registered according to the decision of the Central commissions on inventories (TsKZ) of the ministries and departments as a result of the subsequent exploration works and development of fields belong to inventories of the minerals considered by mining companies.
