About modification of article 18 of the Law of Ukraine "About general secondary education" concerning prevention of discrimination in case of receipt in elementary school
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:
I. Article 18 of the Law of Ukraine "About general secondary education" (1999, No. 28, the Art. 230) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with part seven of such content:
"7. It is forbidden to check the level of knowledge in case of transfer of children in general education educational institution, except gymnasiums, lyceums, kollegium, specialized schools (boarding schools)".
II. Final provisions
1. This Law becomes effective from the date of its publication.
2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in three-months time from the date of the introduction in operation of this Law to bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law.
