wishing to promote increase in efficiency of the international motor transportations of loads,

for the purpose of realization:

Agreements on creation of the free trade area of April 15, 1994 and the Protocol to it of April 2, 1999,

The action program on development of the Commonwealth of Independent States for the period till 2005 approved by the Decision of Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States of June 20, 2000

Agreements on the principles of forming of general transport space and conditions of interaction of the State Parties of the CIS in the field of transport policy of October 9, 1997,

Agreements on procedure for transit through the territories of gosudarstvuchastnik of the Commonwealth of Independent States of June 4, 1999.

Article 1

The terms used in this agreement have the following values:

the international freight traffic - transportation of goods between the Parties;

the international motor transportation - transportation of goods on vehicles with crossing of border at least one of the Parties, including transportation by transit across their territory;

the vehicle - the automotive vehicle with the mechanical drive intended for cargo hauling with trail car (semitrailer truck) or without it, having registration and distinctive marks of the Parties;

carrier - any legal entity or physical person of the Party which performs motor transportation of loads on commercial basis or on own account according to the national legal system of this Party;
