About entering of amendments and changes into the Criminal code of the Kyrgyz Republic

Article 1.

Bring in the Criminal code of the Kyrgyz Republic (Sheets of Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, 1998, No. 7, the Art. 229) the following amendments and changes:

1. Add Chapter 17 with Article 125-1 of the following content:

"Article 125-1. Forced use of work (chattel slavery)

(1) Forced use of work of the person for performance of works (chattel slavery) which person owing to circumstances cannot refuse owing to application to it of the actions inherent in the property right,

it is punished by imprisonment for a period of up to three years.

(2) Same act, committed:

1) concerning two or more persons;

2) concerning the minor;

3) person with use of the official position;

4) using blackmail, violence or with threat of its application;

5) with withdrawal, concealment or destruction of identity documents of the victim,

it is punished by imprisonment for a period of three up to seven years.

(3) the Act provided by parts one and the second this Article:

1) made concerning obviously juvenile;

2) the entailed causing severe harm to health of the victim, other heavy effects or the death of the victim;

3) made by organized criminal group,

it is punished by imprisonment for a period of seven up to ten years.".

2. In Article 241:

in the paragraph the second 1 word of "three" to replace parts with the word of "five";

in the paragraph the second shall be replaced with words parts 2 of the word "from two to six" "from five to eight";

in the paragraph the second shall be replaced with words parts 3 of the word "from three to eight" "from eight to ten";
