Concerning application of measure of guaranteeing - transportation of goods by customs carrier

Concerning application of measure of guaranteeing delivery - "transportation of goods by customs carrier" we report the following. Till 16.11.2010 - dates of the introduction in operation of the Law of Ukraine of 19.10.2010 No. 2608-VI "About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning restriction of state regulation of economic activity" (further - the Law "About Modification"), activities of customs carrier were subject to licensing according to the Law of Ukraine "About licensing of certain types of economic activity" (further - the Law "About Licensing").

According to the Law "About Licensing" the State Customs Service granted licenses for the right of carrying out intermediary activities of customs carrier to business entities which answered all criteria, by the established Law "About Licensing", the Customs code of Ukraine, and satisfied the Licensed conditions of conducting intermediary activities of customs carrier approved by the order of the State Committee of Ukraine on Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship and State Customs Service of 25.03.2004 No. 34/212.

Thus, by issue of the corresponding licenses by State Customs Service the right of implementation by the companies of such activities was granted.

As 16.11.2010 the Law "About Modification", licensing of intermediary activities of customs carrier is cancelled, the State Customs Service stops issue of licenses for this type of activity. The provisions of the law "About licensing" and the regulations published on its basis, are not subject to application.
