The State Parties of this agreement on behalf of the governments which are hereinafter referred to as the Party

expressing aspiration to consolidation of the friendly international relations, development of integration processes in the Commonwealth of Independent States,

in view of importance of support and mutual enrichment of national cultures and education, preserving general cultural information space,

considering the Commonwealth of communication which traditionally developed between the people in the humanitarian sphere, mutual interest in their every possible strengthening and expansion,

understanding need of creation of interstate system of life-long education of adult population,

performed sincere aspiration to equal cooperation in the field of dissemination of knowledge,

understanding need of creation of the mechanism of realization of cooperation of the Parties for implementation of joint programs and projects in the field of dissemination of knowledge and education of adults,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties shall create favorable conditions for distribution in the territory to information popularizing modern achievements in the field of science, the equipment, cultures and educations and also for cooperation in this area, to promote consolidation of creative and scientific potential in the solution of social and economic tasks.

Article 2

The parties will promote activities of the national educational and other organizations working in the field of dissemination of knowledge and education of adults, to give them methodical, advisory help and support.

Article 3

The parties will render assistance in development and implementation of national programs for increase in intellectual potential of the personality by means of the socially important projects aimed at sustainable development of society and also in preparation and approbation of new approaches to realization of perspective social technologies for the benefit of the person and ethical improvement of society.
