The State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

attaching importance to development of military cooperation in the field of protection and use of airspace,

for the purpose of ensuring safe use of airspace, counteraction to terrorism and ensuring single approach to the organization of actions of persons on duty for air defense (further - air defense) forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in case of receipt of information on hijacking (stealing) of the aircraft (aircraft),

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties cooperate in the organization of actions of persons on duty for air defense of forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States in case of receipt of information on hijacking (stealing) of the aircraft (aircraft) and prevention of acts of terrorism with use of the aircraft (aircraft) in airspace according to Regulations on operations procedure of persons on duty on air defense of forces of gosudarstvuchastnik of the Commonwealth of Independent States in case of receipt of information on threat of making of act of terrorism in airspace and (or) hijacking (stealing) of the aircraft (aircraft) which is integral part of this agreement.

Article 2

The parties are determined by authorized bodies, actionees of this agreement, and inform on it depositary in case of delivery of the adequate notice about accomplishment of the interstate procedures necessary for entry into force of this agreement, or the document on accession.

Article 3

Coordination of sales activity of this agreement is assigned to the Council of Ministers of Defense of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
