About modification and amendments in the Law on the procedure of election of the President of the Republic of Moldova No. 1234-XIV of September 22, 2000

In the Law on the procedure of election of the President of the Republic of Moldova No. 1234-XIV of September 22, 2000 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2000, No. 139-140, of the Art. 996), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes and additions:

1. Add Article 5 with part (6) the following content:

"(6) If at the scheduled time the special commission did not register any candidate for President of the Republic of Moldova, it is considered that elections cannot take place, and the resolution of Parliament on setting a date of the corresponding elections is declared invalid. According to the offer of the parliamentary Parliament fractions in time no more than 30 days appoints new date of regular elections of the President of the Republic of Moldova.".

2. In Article 6:
