This Federal Law governs the relations arising in connection with creation, functioning and the termination of existence of zones of territorial development in the Russian Federation, determines the directions of measures of the state support when implementing business and other economic activity in the specified zones (further - measures of the state support).
In this Federal Law the following basic concepts are used:
1) zone of territorial development in the Russian Federation (further - zone of territorial development) - part of the territory of the subject of the Russian Federation on which for the purpose of acceleration of social and economic development of the subject of the Russian Federation by forming of favorable conditions for investment attraction in its economy measures of the state support are provided to residents of zone of territorial development;
2) the strategy of social and economic development of the subject of the Russian Federation for long-term outlook providing creation of zone of territorial development - the document of the state strategic planning approved in accordance with the established procedure and determining the purposes, priorities of social and economic policy and task of social and economic development of the subject of the Russian Federation for long-term outlook taking into account the features determined by this Federal Law;
