According to provisions of Art. 10 of the Law No. 1538-XII of 23.06.93 on veterinary activities, for the purpose of prevention of penetration and spread of the infectious diseases characteristic for horse, in the territory of the Republic of Moldova and elimination of possible technical barriers of trade in horse I ORDER:

1. Approve the Veterinary sanitary standard about conditions of health of animals regulating movement and trade horse, brought into accord with provisions of the Directive of the EU 90/426/EEC of June 26, 1996 it (is applied).

2. To the public veterinary service, economic agents (physical persons and legal entity) to be guided in the activities by provisions of this veterinary sanitary standard.

3. This order becomes effective from the date of publication in the Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova.

4. To impose control of execution of this order on management of veterinary medicine, the State veterinary inspection.

Section I General provisions

1. This veterinary sanitary standard establishes the requirements to health of animals regulating movement and trade in horse.

2. In this veterinary sanitary standard the used basic concepts have the following values:

a) object - any agricultural enterprise located in the territory of the Republic of Moldova where horse contain, operated or grown up;

b) horse - wild and pets from type of horse, including zebra and donkeys or the posterity from pairing of these types included in the Inventory of the Republic of Moldova under tariff line item 0101;
