About declaration of goods by economic agents of east regions of the Republic of Moldova

For the purpose of fight against smuggling, prevention of customs offenses, implementation of proper control and accounting of external economic transactions, and also the Government of the Republic of Moldova DECIDES: carrying out the customs policy correlated with the international obligations of the country

1. The procedure of declaring and customs clearance of the goods imported on customs area and exported from customs area of the country by the economic agents from east regions of the Republic of Moldova registered in Public institution "Agency of the state services" is performed depending on the customs regime requested in accordance with general practice without collection of customs payments provided that goods will remain in the territory which is not controlled by the constitutional bodies.

The economic agents from east regions of the Republic of Moldova registered in Public institution "Agency of the state services" will perform the procedure of declaration of goods, including assessed by excises, on the customs posts established by Customs Service.

2. Customs Service:

to quarterly request, on the basis of the signed agreements, from customs authorities of neighboring countries information on export/commodity import and to compare these data with the data registered by customs statistics of the Republic of Moldova. In case of identification of discrepancies as a result of which the damage to the state was caused the sanctions provided by the current legislation are applied to the corresponding economic agents;

establish the detailed procedure of execution of customs papers and supervision of the goods imported (exported) economic agents from east regions of the country.

4. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure and Customs Service.

5. Provisions of this resolution extend to the legal relationship which arose since September 27, 2001.
