1.1. According to provisions of the Protocol of the intergovernmental mixed commission on economic, trade both to sci-tech cooperation between the Moldavian and Romanian sides, for the Republic of Moldova allocation of quota for import of sugar to Romania is provided in the preferential mode in number of 14 thousand tons.
1.2. The provision establishes procedure for distribution of the corresponding quota to economic agents of the Republic of Moldova.
2.1. The quota for export of sugar from the Republic of Moldova to Romania will be distributed only to economic agents making sugar proceeding from amount of the sugar made by them from sugar beet, in the quantity directly pro rata to amount of the made sugar from sugar beet in 2004.
2.3. The quota will be distributed quarterly by the commission created under Ministry of Economics of the Republic of Moldova which structure will include representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and food industry, Ministry of Economics, Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Union of sakharoproizvoditel of Moldova.
2.4. The decision of the commission on distribution of quota for sugar for export to Romania will be stipulated in the relevant protocol. The protocol is drawn up in one copy and signed by each member of the commission.
3.1. For receipt of the export quota of sugar the economic agents wishing to export sugar on the preferential quota provided by Romania shall submit to Romania the commissions the following documents:
- statement for allocation of the export quota;
- monthly data on amount of the sugar made from sugar beet of harvest of 2004 and also amount of the sugar which is in warehouse at the time of filing of application;
