About modification and amendments in some legal acts

The Parliament adopts this organic law.

Art. I. - In the Law on legal profession No. 1260-XV of July 19, 2002 (Official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2002, No. 126-127, of the Art. 1001), with subsequent changes, to make the following changes:

1. In all text of the law of the word "professional legal" shall be replaced with words "qualified legal" in the corresponding case.

2. State Article 6 in the following edition:

"Article 6. Provision of the legal aid guaranteed by the state

Conditions, amount and procedure for provision by lawyers of the legal aid guaranteed by the state are established by the Law on the legal aid guaranteed by the state.".

3. Item b) to state parts 1 of Article 22 in the following edition:

"b) systematic violation by the lawyer of conditions of provision of the legal aid guaranteed by the state;".

4. Item h) parts (Article 32 to exclude 2).

5. In part (1) Article 35:

"d) appoints members of National council on the legal aid guaranteed by the state and also other persons for realization of functions of Bar in the field of the legal aid guaranteed by the state;";

6. In Article 46:

"a) give qualified legal aid according to the agreement signed with the client or with territorial offices of National council on the legal aid guaranteed by the state;";

in part (3) change concerns only the text in the Moldavian language.

7. In Article 54:

part (to state 3) in the following edition:

"(3) the State provides to lawyers payment of the provided legal aid according to the Law on the legal aid guaranteed by the state."; parts (4) and (to exclude 5).
