About introduction of obligatory preliminary informing on the goods imported on customs area of the Customs union by road transport

According to article 3 of the Agreement on representation and about exchange of the preliminary information about the goods and vehicles moved through customs border of the Customs union of May 21, 2010 for the purpose of optimization and acceleration of making of customs transactions, increase in efficiency of customs control

The commission of the Customs union solved:

1. Enter obligatory preliminary informing concerning the goods imported on customs area of the Customs union by road transport.

2. Authorized Economic Operators, carriers, including customs carriers, customs representatives or other interested persons (further – interested persons) provide information on the goods imported by road transport at least in two hours prior to their import to customs area of the Customs union.

In case imported goods are assumed to the room under customs procedure of customs transit in the place of arrival, the interested person provides the preliminary information in information system of customs authorities of state member of the Customs union in the territory of which the place of arrival of goods and vehicles is located, in volume of the data established for the transit declaration and to contain data about (about):

– the sender, the receiver of goods according to transport (transportation) documents;

– to the country of departure, country of destination of goods;

– customs applicant;

– carrier;

– the vehicle of international delivery on which goods are transported;

– the name, quantity, the cost of goods according to business, transport (transportation) documents;
