About introduction of amendments to some laws of Ukraine of rather age limit of stay in the public, diplomatic service and service in local government bodies

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such laws of Ukraine:

1. Part one of article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "About public service" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 1993, No. 52, Art. 490; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI) to state in such edition:

"The age limit of stay in public service makes 65 years".

2. The first offer of part one of article 18 of the Law of Ukraine "About service in local government bodies" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2001, No. 33, Art. 175; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI) to state in such edition: "The age limit of stay on service in local government bodies makes 65 years".

3. Part one of article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "About diplomatic service" (Sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2002, No. 5, Art. 29; 2011, No. 31, Art. 296; with the changes made by the Law of Ukraine of July 8, 2011 No. 3668-VI) to state in such edition:

"The age limit of stay on diplomatic service makes 65 years".

II. Final provisions

1. This Law becomes effective from the date of its publication.

2. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in two-month time from day of the introduction in operation of this Law:

bring the regulatory legal acts into accord with this Law;

provide reduction by the ministries and other central executive bodies of the regulatory legal acts in compliance with this Law.
