About amnesty in connection with the twentieth anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Due to the twentieth anniversary of the state independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, being guided by the principle of humanity, this Law is adopted.

Article 1. The concepts used in this Law

In this Law the following concepts are used:

1) persons specified in the subitem 1) of Item 1 of article 2 of this Law - persons which did not reach eighteen-year age at the time of crime execution;

2) persons specified in the subitem 2) of Item 1 of article 2 of this Law:

expectant mothers on the date of enforcement of this Law;

the women who are not deprived of the parent rights and having the children including adopted or taken under guardianship and (or) guardianship, who did not reach eighteen-year age on the date of enforcement of this Law, or having before arrest and condemnation dependent on handicapped children of I and II groups irrespective of their age;

the men who are at the time of enforcement of this Law by the single parent of minor children and are not deprived of the parent rights;

3) persons specified in the subitem 3) of Item 1 of article 2 of this Law, - disabled people I, II and III groups recognized as those according to the procedure, established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, before enforcement of this Law;

4) persons specified in the subitem 4) of Item 1 of article 2 of this Law - women to whom fifty years were performed and is more senior, men who performed sixty three years and are more senior, before enforcement of this Law;

5) persons specified in the subitem 5) of Item 1 of article 2 of this Law - participants and disabled people of the Great Patriotic War and persons equated to them;

6) persons specified in the subitem 6) of Item 1 of article 2 of this Law - the widows of the military personnel of Armed Forces, other troops and military forming, including the former USSR, the dead or missing persons in case of accomplishment of military or international duty and who did not enter other registered scrap and also wives of disabled veterans and persons equated to them.
