About modification of Rules of obligatory civil liability insurance of owners of vehicles

1. Approve the enclosed changes which are made to the Rules of obligatory civil liability insurance of owners of vehicles approved by the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of May 7, 2003 N 263 (The Russian Federation Code, 2003, N 20, by Art. 1897; 2006, N 36, Art. 3833; N 52, of Art. 5593; 2008, N 14, Art. 1409; 2009, N 33, Art. 4085).

2. This resolution becomes effective since January 1, 2012, except for Items 5 and 9 of the changes approved by this resolution which become effective since January 1, 2013.

Changes which are made to Rules of obligatory civil liability insurance of owners of vehicles

1. The paragraph one of Item 11 to add with words ", taking into account information containing in the automated information system of obligatory civil liability insurance of owners of vehicles created according to article 30 of the Federal law "About Obligatory Civil Liability Insurance of Owners of Vehicles" (further - the automated system of insurance)".

2. In Item 14:

a) add paragraph two with words ", except as specified, provided by this Item";

b) add with the paragraph of the following content:

"Presentation in case of the conclusion of the agreement of compulsory insurance of the coupon of technical inspection or the coupon about passing of the state technical inspection of the vehicle which effective period expires more than in 6 months prior to the termination of expected effective period of the signed agreement of compulsory insurance is the basis for refusal by the insurer in the conclusion of the agreement of compulsory insurance.".
