About modification of some legal acts of Ukraine concerning determination of cognizance of cases on arrest on ocean ships

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine decides:

I. Make changes to such legal acts of Ukraine:

1. Article 16 of the Economic Procedure Code of Ukraine (1992, No. 6, the Art. 56) after part one to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with new part of such content:

"Cases on arrest of the vessel which is performed for providing the sea requirement are considered by court on the location of seaport of Ukraine in which there is vessel, or port of registration of the vessel".

With respect thereto the second - the eighth to consider parts respectively parts three - the ninth.

2. Part the fourth Article 114 of the Code of civil procedure of Ukraine (2004, Art. No. No. 40-42, 492) to add sheets of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the paragraph of such content:

"Cases on arrest of the vessel which is performed for providing the sea requirement are considered by court on the location of seaport of Ukraine in which there is vessel, or port of registration of the vessel".

II. This Law becomes effective at the same time with entry into force for Ukraine the International convention on standardization of some rules concerning seizure of ocean ships according to the Law of Ukraine of September 7, 2011 No. 3702-VI "About accession of Ukraine to the International convention on standardization of some rules concerning seizure of ocean ships".
