The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties
wishing to develop cooperation in the field of communication,
considering rates of demand for services of radio communication, television and broadcasting,
considering necessary to perform coordination of radio-frequency assignments in strip of radio frequencies of 29,7-960 of MHz for the purpose of avoidance of harmful mutual hindrances to their radio services,
being effective according to Regulations of radio communication of the International Union of Telecommunication (IUT),
agreed as follows:
For the purpose of this agreement:
- the term "border area" means the territory located on both sides of border between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Uzbekistan where radio-electronic means of one Party can create harmful hindrances with the level exceeding the admissible size accepted in Item the second Articles of the fifth of this agreement, to radio-electronic means of other Party;
- the term "coordination of radio-frequency assignments" means the procedure of receipt of consent of the Parties to installation and operation of radio-electronic means according to characteristics of radio-frequency assignments of these radio-electronic means.
The rights, obligations and responsibility of the parties are determined and regulated by the universally recognized norms of international law, the national legal system of the Parties and provisions of this agreement.
