About the status of "Nazarbaev Universitet", "Nazarbayev Intellectual schools" and "Nazarbayev Fond"

Chapter 1. General provisions

Article 1. The basic concepts used in this Law

In this Law the following basic concepts are used:

1) the autonomous organization of education - the non-profit organization which does not have membership established by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan which legal status and particular legal regime of activities are determined by this Law;

2) the organizations of Intellectual schools - the non-profit organizations established by Intellectual schools, other legal entities, fifty and more percent of voting shares (shares in the authorized capital) which belong to Intellectual schools on the property right or trust management, and also their affiliated organizations;

3) the educational grant "Nazarbaev Universitet" - the target amount of money provided to students within the state educational order for payment of education at University on appropriate level of education or on preparatory department on the conditions established by this Law;

4) grant of "Nazarbaev Universitet" - the amount of money provided to the student according to the educational grant "Nazarbaev Universitet";

5) extracurricular activities - the activities of participants of educational process of University, Intellectual schools aimed at all-round development and realization of individual capabilities of students, performed in the form of actions which list affirms the decision of the relevant board of trustees;
