noting important role of Collective peacekeeping forces in maintenance of safety and stable situation in the country, in providing favorable conditions for forward development of the intertajik dialogue and implementation of peace arrangements, their essential contribution to ensuring immunity of the Tajik-Afghan border from encroachments from the outside, in creation of conditions for safe return of refugees to places of their permanent residence, in ensuring compliance with regulations of international humanitarian law, and also in safety of personnel of the Mission of UN observers in Tajikistan, the OSCE Mission and other international organizations,

proceeding from the fact that tasks of Collective peacekeeping forces in the Republic of Tajikistan are carried out

emphasizing importance of continuing efforts of the State Parties of the CIS, the UN, OSCE, other international organizations, all world community in rendering assistance to post-conflict economic revival of the Republic of Tajikistan,

recognizing importance of positive experience of political settlement in the Republic of Tajikistan for settlement of conflict situations in other regions, solved:

Stop functioning of Collective peacekeeping forces in the Republic of Tajikistan which were created according to the Decision of heads of states - members of the Commonwealth about forming of Collective peacekeeping forces and the beginning of their functioning of September 24, 1993 and to start their disbandment.
