About some measures for enhancement of system of state bodies in the field of foreign policy

For the purpose of enhancement of system of state bodies in the field of foreign policy of the Republic of Belarus I decide:

1. According to Item 5 of article 84 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus:

abolish the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of external commercial relations, and also position of the Minister of cases of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

form the Ministry of Foreign Affairs based on the specified state bodies and the office of the Minister of cases of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the Office of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus;

transfer property and clerical work of the state bodies specified in paragraph three of this Item, to the educated Ministry.

2. Determine that:

the educated Ministry of Foreign Affairs is universal successor of the abolished state bodies, the Minister of cases of the Commonwealth of Independent States and its device of the corresponding international obligations;

before approval by the President of the Republic of Belarus of the Regulations on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its structure and the number of staff the specified Ministry performs the powers assigned according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus to the abolished Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of external commercial relations and also on the Minister of cases of the Commonwealth of Independent States and its device;

employees of the abolished state bodies and the office of the Minister of cases of the Commonwealth of Independent States of the Office of Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus submit to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and continue to perform the powers to the solution of question of their further employment according to the legislation of the Republic of Belarus.
