The government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of Moscow of the Russian Federation which are hereinafter referred to as with the Parties

based on provisions of the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation signed on June 10, 1992

considering the developed traditional ties and mutual interest in further deepening and expansion of bilateral trade and economic, scientific and technical and humanitarian and cultural cooperation,

aiming at development and strengthening of bilateral ties within the Commonwealth of Independent States on the basis of good will, equality and mutual advantage,

understanding vital need of more effective use of the economic, production, financial, property, intellectual, cultural and other capabilities which are available for the Parties in the conditions of the market relations,

attaching importance to support of entrepreneurship and private initiative, production integration, establishment and expansion of direct connections between business entities of the Parties,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties perform cooperation on the principles of long-term partnership which are equitable to interests of the Kyrgyz Republic and Moscow by direct interaction on contractual basis of public authorities of the Parties, and also organizations of the Parties of any patterns of ownership according to the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation.

Article 2

The parties direct the efforts to expansion of framework of trade and economic cooperation, providing mutually advantageous conditions for joint production and economic, entrepreneurial, commercial and other types of activity of the companies and the organizations for the purpose of the maximum use of their opportunities for production of competitive goods and provision of services.
